Question by : Does it hurt SEO rankings to have 30 different yahoo answers responses links within a day or two?
Does it hurt your SEO rankings on a website that is a year plus old, if you get 30 people to give list your link in a bunch of different yahoo answers within a few days? These are all from unique yahoo answer members with level 2 ratings with yahoo.

I would want to do SEO optimization some websites for those specific languages. Is creating each language corresponding pages a good way? How does Google rank those websites for those languages?

i strongly recommend using sub domains. each subdomain is a complete web site, in a different language.

www.yourwebsite.com – English
dutch.yourwebsite.com
French.yourwebsite.com

as long as the subdomain is a complete web site, you should be good.

Great question. You must incorporate good keywords in your website. Think of anything someone may ask to find your product. For instance, I need to find XYZ product? or who sells xyz product. Now there is a ton of competition so you need to find out what keywords people put in google that competitors don’t use. Go to Google adwords (https://adwords.google.com) and put in any keyword you want regarding your product and Google adwords will generate a list of keywords relevant to your request. Find the keywords that your competitors don’t use. I promote gold & silver coins and the keyword “money paper coins is put in google search 7,000,000 times a month. Virtually no competition. I’m not #1 yet but I’m sure close. The keywords you see in the google adwords page will actually show you graphs of which keywords are not used by competitors. If you say put just “silver” in you will see you have a ton of competition and it will take you forever to get listed high. But if you page down you see silver rare it gets 22,000 hits per month, very little ad competition and you will rank higher quicker if you use that in your website. Tell me what you want to promote and I will give you ideas. All free of course.

Hello there!

Using SEO is a great way to get traffic. One important thing is to make sure you have good, well written content (850 words at least) with about 3% of it being your main keyword phrase. Google will look for those keywords, but if you do it too much, google will view it as “keyword stuffing” and penalize you. Also with it being well written, people will stay longer, and if people are staying longer the search engines will think your website has value and increase its ranking.
