Domain Name Options
When you register a domain name, you may choose from a variety of free and low-cost domain options. Free options are available after registration is complete. Low-cost options may be selected during or after registration.
- Leave your domain parked — a “Coming Soon” page will remain displayed
- Put up a custom “For Sale” page
- Customize a starter web page with your own text, graphics, and links — even choose color combinations
- Use a Web hosting/builder credit to launch a 5-page site (plans are ad-supported, but ad-free upgrades are available)
- Set up your own blog, podcast, or both (plans are ad-supported, but ad-free upgrades are available)
- Display an online photo album site with login-free or password-protected photo sharing (upgradable)
- Forward your domain (with optional masking) to an existing web site
WordPress, blog, store, and photo plans can be used as stand-alones or be added to an existing site at any time.
All low-cost options are ad-free.
All options include email.
If you wish to register domain names with our company but have your site hosted elsewhere, your domain name must point to your host’s name servers. Your host should provide a list of at least two name servers. You will need to enter these names in our Domain Manager in order to point your domain.
If your domain name is registered with another registrar, you can still choose one of our low-cost domain options. Remember to point your domain to our default hosting servers.
You may transfer your domain name(s) to our company at any time (registrar permitting). See domain transfer information for details. We are more than happy to serve all of your domain needs.
