Add Privacy to Your Domain Registration
ICANN, the worldwide governing body for all domain names, requires each and every registrar to maintain a publicly accessible Whois directory displaying complete contact information for all domains registered.
This means that after you register a domain name, your personal information (including full name, home address, email address, and telephone number) is made available for anyone to see.
If you don't want your information exposed, you can add privacy. We will list the name, addresses, and phone number of Domains By Proxy (our affiliate company) in the Whois directory instead of your personal information.
With Domains By Proxy as the registered name, you still retain the full benefits of domain registration.
